Week 5 Power Rankings

1. Dave (3-1)

The good news is, Dave can only keep 3 of these guys next year! Allen, Lamar, CMC, and Diggs make up the best top 4 I can remember anyone having in this league. The rest of the squad isn't bad either, including rookie Tank Dell who has been heavily featured on Red Zone this season. The RB room is prone to injuries but it's hard to imagine Dave not making a deep playoff run so long as his big 4 stay healthy.

2. Justin (4-0)

Justin's 40-4 All-Play record is simply unreal! I could pull the numbers on if that's the best start we've had through 4 weeks, but I'm on my lunch break and don't have that kind of time so we will just say it is. Going into the season Justin hoped one of the 20 late round QBs he selected would hit to supplement his STACKED WR room. Turns out CJ Stroud is a top 10 QB through 4 Weeks and Sam Howell can put up points against anyone but the Bills. Justin even hit on rookie Sam LaPorta, who is currently the #4 TE.

3. Andrew (3-1)

Coming off a 3rd Place finish last year (Andrew's best to date) it would be easy to expect Andrew to fall back to the middle of the pack with an injured and ineffective Burrow. Keeping the team afloat has been a the RB combo of Swift and Mostert to go along with a concussion free Tua. If Burrow can return to form this team has a real shot at repeating last year's success and maybe taking another step.

4. Ryan (2-2)

Through 4 Weeks, Jalen Hurts has shown his 2022 Season was no fluke while Russel Wilson still sucks but has strong Blake Bortles garbage time vibes. Justin Jefferson has also lived up to the hype while Olave and Ridley have only shown flashes. If those two can consistently put up triple digit points this team will be much better than it's current 2-2 record.

5. Mitch (2-2)

It's been back to back weeks of sweating out Monday Night Football for my squad. A couple weeks ago, it was a late Tutu Atwell TD that gave me a W over Ryan. This week saw Justin eek by despite a terrible performance from Daniel Jones. This team's success was always going to hinge on Trevor Lawrence and Rookie Anthony Richardson. To date, Lawrence has been "meh" at best while Anthony Richardson is the $15 QB despite missing nearly 2 Games. If Lawrence can play like he did at the end of last season, this team should be good enough for a playoff birth.

6. Jesse (3-1)

Jesse sits at 3-1 but his All-Play record (18-26) and Points For (10th) tell a different story. The biggest thing holding this team back is the QB play. Cousins has picked up right where he left off last year and is currently the #7 QB, but Bryce Young has been a mess so far. The WR room was deep heading into the season and while Garrett Wilson took a big hit with the Rodgers injury, Jesse found gold with rookie Puka Nacua. Look for Jesse to give Bryce a few more weeks before he starts shopping WRs for an upgrade at QB.

7. Court (N/A)

Welcome to the League (chat) Court! I'm workshopping a few ideas on how to get Court into the League next year without causing too much disruption. In the meantime it will be great having him in the GroupMe.

8. Drew (0-4)

Drew has to be the unluckiest SOB to ever play Fantasy Football. His 20-24 All-Play record isn't great but is currently good for 6th in the League and better than Jesse and Jason who both sit at 3-1. To make matters worse, Drew's entire team is on BYE this week. The good news, the Justin Herbert (#1 QB) to Keenan Allen (#3 WR) has been fire and Derrick Henry continues to defy age. The rest of the squad isn't great but if either of the Rookie WRs come on in the second half of the year, Drew could make a push for the playoffs.

9. Jason (3-1)

With the 3rd worst All-Play record, 4th worst Points For, and a 3-1 Record, Jason should be buying lottery tickets! Picking between Fields, Watson, and Dobbs won't be easy going forward but that's a problem most teams would love to have. The rest of the team looks solid on paper but have been uneven thus far. The Tee Higgins injury is a big one and even when he comes back it's unclear if Burrow will be able to get him the ball. The RB room also lacks bite outside of Etienne.

10. Mike (1-3)

How can a team with Pat Mahomes and Ja'Marr Chase be this butt?! A look at the rest of the roster and it's even more confusing.  Leaving 200+ Point scorers on his bench every single Week, Mike's biggest issue thus far has been making the right roster decisions,! The pending return of Johnathan Taylor should make those decisions a bit easier.

11. Taylor (1-3)

Getting Eckler back from injury would make me feel much better about this team's chances at a playoffs spot. A RB room with a healthy Eckler, Josh Jacobs, and De'Von Achane would be unmatched in this league. The QB play has been solid but nothing spectacular this far, though I think both Dak and Stafford have some big games coming. The WR room is butt outside of DeVonta Smith.

12. Cha (1-3)

Cha's team is better than this but I am keeping him low because he traded Josh Allen to Dave for scraps. Playoff hopes are in the hands of a potential Kyler Murray return, something that doesn't look likely with how well Josh Dobbs has been playing.

13. Eric / Tim (1-3)

The Griddle Boys are without all three Keepers for the second consecutive week. The rest of the team is solid but lacks any real punch outside of David Montgomery. Saquan and Kupp appear close to returning and that could be enough to keep this team from repeating as co-owners next season.
