Time for our first PR since Trump said Covid will just disappear like magic (Fact check!). I’m here to tell you something about your team that you probably already know but I’m probably wrong.
1. Tim
Tim has to go here even though he’s scored the 2nd most points. His team has some injury issues but we all do. Tim has great RBs and Fournette in the 8th round is looking like a steal. He got Patterson on waivers and we all should be kicking ourselves. Lamar Jackson has been shaky but I like this team (more than I like Tim).
2. Elkins/Justin
In Elkins 14th co-owned season he seems to have figured it out. Draft a good team, let Justin fleece a couple trades and bam! you got yourself a championship team. I don’t really believe Elkins is that bad and Justin’s trades aren’t usually that lopsided, but it’s still fun to poke. Tough loss in week 4 against Cha and this week but they’ve scored over 1100 points every week and will eventually win enough. Picking two top 5 RBs in picks 12 and 13 was a good call. Ja’marr was a great pick too. Don’t love the QBs but if Lawrence gets better throughout the year they could be the team to beat in the playoffs.
3. Cha
Cha is sneaky good this year. Slow start to the season but has been scoring a lot the last 3 weeks and trending up. Henderson in the 7th round has worked out well. He’ll need some Mac Jones magic to make a run though.
4. Mike
At only 2-4 it might surprise some to see Mike at 4 but looking at his starters this team can be good. I love all 3 of his QBs, his RBs of Robinson and Mixon have been performing and if Carson comes back soon it should work out for him. Even has a top 5 TE. He could use a better WR and his bench is a mess, but I’m rooting for ya Mike!
5. Taylor
I go back and forth on if my team is any good. I’m probably a .500 team all year and hope to sneak in the playoffs. Kyler has been great but it falls off pretty quick after that. Gaskin has sucked, I have 4 QBs including Tayson Fucking Hill and two guys on IR? Ronald Jones has PTSD every time he fumbles. Should be lower really, but it’s my PR.
6. Jesse
Getting Henry and Adams in his first two picks looks like a great call. Jesse all play suggests he’s won some that maybe he shouldn’t but still in good position at 4-2. Tough call getting two 49ers QBs that look as if they’ll spit time capping the ceiling on both of them. Eek out a few more wins and Jesse could be in the playoffs.
7. Drew
Who’d a thought Jalen Hurts would be #4 QB at this point? Drew has 4 QBs and could have some interesting trade pieces as the season moves on. Rest of the team is average but Karama on BYE and when Chubb gets off IR this team could be decent to good.
8. Mitch
Mitch is making the most of his slow start and now has a team that can compete week to week. Thielen and Cook aren’t living up to expectations but could be in store for a good second half of the season. If so Mitch could be trending towards the playoffs. He has two Herbert’s on his team.
9. Dave
Getting Mahomes is all that mattered during the draft. He’ll be the cornerstone of good dave teams for years to come. I think most are OUT on Barkley at this point and the rest of the team is “blah” besides Hopkins.
10. Andrew
Andrew’s team isn’t really that bad, but it seems like the giving up jokes have started so I’ll just put you here. Andrew could use another RB but I like the QB’s and TE. I’m optimistic about the strength of the WRs too.
11. Jason
Jason’s team was ok but McCaffrey going on IR is a real bummer. Keeping Dobbins as a keeper then dropping him was FF gold. Aaron Jones seems to be the only solid week to week guy on this team. I have faith in consistent QB play once Geno is out of the starting lineup.
12. Eric
Eric had a solid team and tried working the waivers, but alas the FF gods struck him down. His team is all on IR. He only has 1 QB at the moment. Two of the top 3 WRs is great looking ahead for keepers but it’ll be tough to get something going the rest of this year.
