1. Justin
Owner of the best team name is also the owner of the top team in our Power Rankings. Justin currently boasts the league's deepest WR group, and if AJ Green and/or Tyreke Hill return from injury he very well may have the BEST WR group. Justin was able to acquire those talented WRs by waiting on QB, something that has paid off VERY well with his 5th round selection of Lamar Jackson. QB Two, Josh Allen, is holding his own as well, but with all that talent at WR I would expect Justin to swing a deal for an upgrade prior to the playoffs.
2. Taylor
Watching Taylor manage the Winston / Brissett matchups will be interesting going forward. So far it's been all Brissett in the scoring column, but Taylor as given both starts to Winston. The rest of Taylor's team is deep and, like quarterback, he's going to have decisions to make every week. How well Taylor sets his lineup will greatly impact his potential playoff seeding.
3. Cha
The Ekeler trade was somewhat head scratching at the time, but so far so good as Ekeler continued to put up huge number in Week 2. Finding a legit QB 2 will be imperative for Chandler to make a post season run, unless you believe Case Keenum will be a top 5 QB at season's end.
4. Jason
Jason's WR's continue to anchor this team, but the Antonio Brown potential suspension looms. At QB, I'm still a big believe in Mayfield getting things figured out as the season goes on, but Cousins and Minshew are playing for "run first" teams and depending on game flow may not put up many pass attempts. For this team to reach it's full potential David Johnson needs to be more involved in the Cardinals offense, last week he recorded only 8 touches!
5. Melkins
The projections LOVE this team! My working theory on this is, the team has no upside players stashed on the bench. Most teams have a few handcuffs or young guys with the potential to break out. This team is built on steady production. It's kind of amazing Frank Gore isn't on this team! I'm not saying this as a knock either, this is a very solid team! Getting a TE to replace the injured David Njoku is a must before Sunday. Check your trades!
6. Jesse
With three QBs slated to miss several weeks, Jesse is in need of a QB2 or may be faced with starting a Keke Coutee or Chris Conley type in his OP slot. If Jesse is able to fill that hole without sacrificing any of the Thomas, Barkley, Murray trip he should be in good shape going forward. Speaking of Thomas, it will be interesting to see how his production is impacted by the loss of Brees.
7. Tim
This team remains very top heavy after two weeks with Julio, Watson, and Cook far outpacing everyone else. When Tim took Zac Ertz in the 5th round he was expecting more than 73 points a game that Ertz has averaged thus far. I would expect this to change starting this week with Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson both injured.
8. Mitch
The Running Backs remain a mystery at best, but my trade with Jason last week undoubtedly strengthened my team. If Mike Evens and Greg Kittle return to form and at least one of my 30 RBs hit, I feel confident I'll find myself in the playoffs. If non of that happens, Mahomes might still drag me there!
9. Dave
This team is really struggling and Cam Newton is much to blame. The 3rd round selection is averaging a mere 83 points a game through two weeks. I wouldn't expect Dave to panic however. The Chubb / Kamara duo should be enough to keep him in games. While the WR group doesn't boast a star (unless you're buying John Ross) it is deep. If Cam rights the ship and Dave makes a couple waiver wire additions he could easily make a deep playoff run.
10. Drew
As of right now Drew is starting Daniel Jones in his OP slot! It's a heck of a gamble but if Drew is going to make the playoffs he needs Daniel Jones to instantly be a fantasy star. Outside of Zeke, who looks exactly like you would hope a 1st Round RB would look, is about the only thing working for this team. If injuries to Tevin Coleman and Alshon Jeffery linger, Drew may be faced with having to move Zeke just to stay out of the cellar.
11. Eric
This team wasn't going anywhere to begin with but the season ending injury to Big Ben put the stake in it. Gurley has looked good in the first couple weeks, but it's clear the Rams think his workhorse days are behind him. The rest of this roster is just a mess, particularly the bench which doesn't include a single rosterable player at the moment.
12. Andrew
Moving Andrew a couple spots lower than he should be because of his lack of participation this season. The team itself isn't awful. Rodgers and Goff has been a bit disappointing but still possesses a good amount of upside. The rest of the team has been disappointing, starting with 1st Round selection James Conner. Rookie Devin Singletary was trending in the right direction after scoring his first NFL TD last week, but injured his hamstring and is expected to miss a few weeks.
