WOW! What a season it has been so far! Hard to
believe we only have 3 more seasons…. Tops! We have one Ridder undefeated
(spoiler: he’s not that good) and one Ridder yet to win a game (spoiler: he’s
not that bad). We have the co-boners with arguably the best co-owned team in
our storied history. Also, we have 7 teams at 2-3 and still a wide open season.
I assume there will be a couple big injuries and with bye weeks coming up we’re
about to see a huge shake up! But enough of my rambling…. It’s time for week 6 PR.
1. Andrew Coleman: No surprise here. Andrew
has the best team hands down. Even when he can’t start Conner anymore he’ll
still roll. Andrew has a pretty easy matchup this week, expect him to win
easily and challenge for the high score once again.
2. Jason Ridder: Jason’s team is solid top to
bottom. He has 4 starting QB’s which help down the stretch for bye weeks,
injuries and trade value before the playoffs. Jason has an easy matchup against
a banged up Mike’s team this week and should stay undefeated. If he didn’t
always tell us how good his team is, I would be rooting for him.
3. Dave Kline: Wanted to put Dave ahead of
Jason but just couldn’t. Dave gets consistency out of his qb’s, has great WR’s
and pretty decent RBs. Dave goes up against the co-boners this week and
projected to win, but I suspect it will be close. Dave pays close attention to
fantasy, never makes a bone-headed move, expect him to easily make the playoffs
and contend for $.
4. Chandler Dethy: Although only 2-3 Chandler
has a solid team, capable of scoring big weeks and should improve as the season
wears on. I don’t like that he starts Dalton and Mayfield, with a terrible
fantasy QB Prescott on the bench. Hard to imagine winning anything with that.
But the rest of his team is really good and that puts him up this high.
5. Co-Boners: I praised them already for
actually not sucking at co-ownership. It’s tough to do and these two seem to be
working together well. Has a con-owned team ever made the playoffs? Mahomes has
been great, and if Fournette comes back soon they will continue to win more
than lose. Their WR’s suck and they have 0 trade value on their bench. This is
as high as they get all season. Still, props.
*This
is where things start to get ugly and someone below this line will still make
the playoffs*
6. Tim Lamb: The more I look at Tim’s team the
more I’m starting to believe. He had a bad first week and has been scoring over
1050 each week since. That should be good enough to win down the stretch. His
bench is really good and he’ll have no issues with bye weeks. My favorite to be
the one out of this group.
7. Justin Laurence: Justin was not cool when
we said his team was garbage and he started betting us he’ll make the playoffs.
I didn’t take the bet because he still could, and his confidence in that scared
me. He’s projected to lose to drew this week. Still has Fitzpatrick on his
bench.
8. Drew Garvin: Drew has some bright spots on
his team, but it has been tough for him to fill out a top to bottom roster. He
lost a starting QB (only one of the season so far). Yeldon continuing to start
has helped a lot. Matchup against Justin this week, the drama is real!
9. Mike Eckstein: Mike got Gronk again (should
we just do keeper league? At least we should do an auction draft next year?)
Ajayi out sucks, McCoy sucks, and Rodgers seems to want to play this season
hurt. Mike things: has Demaryius Thomas in his OP spot and has nick foles on
his bench.
10. Taylor Garvin: The whole Bell thing really
fucked me up. Even if he comes back strong, probably isn’t enough to get me to
the playoffs. I’m gonna get bent over by Andrew this week. I still start two
Denver RB’s (confidently). I believe I will win more this season, but right now
not sure when that might be.
11. Eric Ridder: I couldn’t put Eric last
because he took some bad beats early on (his PA is 1000 more than 2nd most). I
started 0-6 last year and climbed to 3rd from last… barely and thanks to
Mitch’s implosion. Eric can still win some and save his season, but he’ll have
to pay a little attention on setting lineups and picking up enough guys to fill
his roster during bye weeks.
12. Ryan Elkins: Ryan’s team is bad. He has
potential to get some big games from some of these guys but doubt it means more
winning. His qb’s would be on all of our bench’s and they both have a bye on
week 10.
Thanks guys! Hope I didn’t burn your team up
too bad. Until next time PR!
