Jason already broke down the playoff / co-owner scenarios for each team, so let's take a look at the Week 12 matchups.
Justin v Mitch
A preview of what will surely be the championship matchup, the Week 12 matchup brings its own set of high stakes, with the top seed / $100 on the line.
Justin should get out to a strong start, with 3 starters playing on Thursday. Bell, Gurley and OBJ are all going against soft defenses but the rest of Justin's team faces off against much tougher competition.
Mitch looks like he's settled on playing Matt Ryan over Kaep but matchups make it a tougher call than it might initially appear. Zeke and David Johnson should run wild on Washington / SF but, like Justin, other matchups are not so favorable.
Drew v Mike
This matchup isn't really worth previewing. Drew's team is out of playoff and co-owner contention, while Mike should make the playoffs so long as he doesn't bench his entire team.
Today's AP pickup ($1) could be interesting if Mike makes a playoff run...
Elkins v Taylor
A week after grabbing Thomas Rawls, Taylor added another potential contributor in some guy named "Wendell", who is starting (maybe?) for the Eagles. The Rawls pickup is HUGE for Taylor, who could be without McCoy this week. This is NOT a team you want to play in the playoffs, making the Mitch / Justin matchup that much more important.
The odds are greatly in favor of Elkins becoming the league's first, two-time co-owner. Elkins must overcome a projected 200+ point deficit and hope Tim loses (not looked yet but I'm guessing he will) to avoid co-ownership.
Cha v Jason
Cha enters the final week riding a four game win streak. Currently projected to win by 80 points, and that's with Allen Robinson starting over Devonta Booker, Cha is in no real danger of missing the playoffs but seeding is still in play.
Jason, I'm pretty sure, has not been eliminated but needs like a million things to go right for him to make the playoffs. Unfortunaly for Jason, Alex Smith, who has been unplayable for weeks now, is his QB2 and matched up against Denver. Tevin Coleman is also in his starting lineup.
Tim v Andrew
How Andrew is still in playoff contention is a mathematical improbability. His team looks like a list of guys you constantly try trading to Mike for his best player. That said, good luck to him. He's played out the season, making pickups, trades and praying Bortles stops throwing picks.
A week after blowing out Mitch, Tim (he of 3 wins) is actually favored to win! Good luck to you too Tim!
Eric v Jesse / Dave
Jesse / Dave are currently a 300 point favorite. Eric SHOULD cut that projection in half if he actually sets his lineup, but it's not going to make a difference. His team has been garbage all season.
The presumed win could land Dave / Jesse a playoff spot, and good for them. Injuries killed this team early on but some good pickups (Jay Ajayi!) have kept them in contention all season.
