Remember when I used to write some lead in text before I got to the Power Rankings? Maybe crack a joke, talk about the big NFL news of the week. OMG JJ Watt is so hurt!
1. Elkins
Elkins moves up to the top spot a week after losing to Cha, who drops to 5th. You figure that one out. I like this team, but with Latavius Murray losing carries, Elkins needs to flip one of his WRs for a RB2.
2. Justin
Gurley, Bell, Ingram. I'm not even worried that he's still starting Marcus Mariota. He'll get someone to bite on Crowell + Bradford for a real QB trade in a couple weeks.
3. Mitch
Rocketing up the PR! That's what happens when you CRUSH the previous week (HELLO ZEKE ELLIOT!) and pick up Cam / Stefon Diggs in trades. This is for sure the high point of my season.
4. Coleman
Andrew's once rock solid relationship with Bortles showed some signs of trouble when he traded for Carson Wentz. Will Wentz be a BYE week fill in, or is Andrew eyeing another man?
5. Taylor
Taylor dropped 1280 points last week and improved to 2-1. Also he's getting TOM BRADY back this week! The Brady / Antonio Brown combo makes Tay a real threat for the belt.
6. Cha
I looked at the stats and wrote down Cha in the top spot when I put my initial list together. So why is he down here? His team sucks. I'm suppose to put a team with Tyrod Taylor in the top spot?! The Jordan Howard pickup should be nice.
7. Jesse / Dave
The former top ranked team drops 6 spots after posting a mere 726 points last week. That's the kind of score you post when your bench has more red letters than the book of Mark.
8. Drew
I think we've covered Drew's team pretty extensively in the group chat.
9. Mike
Dropping Mike a couple extra spots for some terrible FAAB bids. I'm trying to see Mike negotiate with Rick Harrison.
10. Eric
Moving up another spot this week thanks to Jason / Tim falling off a cliff. Also, Devonta Freeman looked like a beast last week, so Eric is up to two good players! How long Eric will roster Tyler Boyd is anyone's guess.
11. Jason
Jason really blew things up after mustering only 732 points last week. Gone is #1 Overall Pick, Cam Newton. In his place is Rookie Dak Prescott and All-World WR Mike Evans. If Jason is going to make a run he needs Doug Martin healthy and a couple 2 FOR 1 trades to work out in his favor.
12. Tim
Why is AP still on his team?! Terrance West shouldn't be owned either! How long before Tim realizes Brock Osweiler shouldn't be starting for an NFL / Fantasy team?
