Week 5 Power Rankings

It's a good thing the conclusion of MNF was so compelling because the rest of that game sucked ass. Just a whole bunch of nobody doin' nothin'. This game was so uninteresting that I created a spreadsheet to help track league stats just to avoid having to fully commit to watching.

For this week's Power Rankings I'll be showcasing a cool stat or two for each team.

1. Elkins
I think I covered this team pretty well last week, but just a reminder for anyone reading this on the blog in 2034, ELKINS IS 4-0!

2. Mitch
As if I wasn't going to put myself in the second spot after the week I had. Here's a cool stat for you, my league leading 1474 points accounted for 14.01% of the league's points in Week 4. That's easily the highest percentage of points a team has scored this year. Here's another stat, my Venmo account balance went up $10! Now I just have to figure out how to turn that into real money.

3. Drew
I don't know how this is happening but Drew keeps winning games with a lineup full of guys most teams would never start. Seriously, Drew has 3 players with Start%'s greater that 55% on his team, one of those is the Seattle D/ST. I'm pretty sure this won't last but Drew should go 4-1 this week with a win over Taylor.

4. Tim
SOB, I'm really moving Tim out of the 6th spot. I suppose Tim is the 4th best team if we are looking at the stats. He's 3-1, has the 4th best All Play record and is 6th in Points for. That adds up right?

5. Cha
I know Cha's sitting at 1-3 but his All-Play record is 3rd best, even after posting a league worst 660 points in Week 4. Man after writing that I just took Cha out of 3rd spot and moved him to 5th.

6. Dave
This is a pretty big tumble for Dave and it really doesn't have anything to do with stats, rather the arm attached to Andrew Luck. Is this dude health or not? It's NEVER good when a guy has a mystery injury. That always means the guy is totally fucked. Remember when Carson has a mystery injury his last year in Cincy? Two weeks later Ryan Fitzpatrick was the starter.

7. Justin
The stats say Justin sucks, he has the 3rd worst All Play record and second fewest Points, BUT I'm sticking with him. Well.. Kinda, I do have him ranked 7th, but I'm still on team Justin! Todd Gurley is the fuckin truth! Unfortunately for Justin his whole team is on BYE this week.

8. Jesse
This feels a little high considering the current state of Jesse's team. Jesse posted the second highest score in Week 2 but has scored near the bottom every other week. Not helping matters, Jesse STILL has an open roster spot and continues to roster Breshad Perriman.

9. Taylor
Brees is back (well kinda) and Lynch sounds like he will return this week. If Jeffery can come back and Jimmy Graham starts getting some targets, this could be a pretty good team. Finding a second RB is a must if he's going to make a run. Maybe he can go back in time and warn Week 2 Taylor to NOT accept the Foles/Freeman deal.

10. Jason
Jason is tied for the worst All Play record and is near the bottom of the league in Points. The best thing you can say about this team is, it's not one of the teams below him in the PR. Outside of Week 1 when he posted a league worst 758 points, Jason has been right around the league average for Points Scored. So I suppose it is possible this team makes a run if the schedule breaks right.

11. Mike/Andrew
Elder is 5-1 on the season, including a win over St. X last Friday. Too bad Mike/Andrew won't sniff 5 wins if they keep Bortles on the bench.

12. Eric
Terri Schiavo was a more active Fantasy Football owner than Eric.
